GGN serves indigenous people groups in North Africa, the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia. We strive to identify the basic needs of people in crisis and connect them to the expertise and gifts of team members capable of meeting those needs. Below are some examples of how GGN is making life better for the most needy in our world—both now and forever.

At the heart of everything we do is our continued passion to help the hurting in remote parts of the world. We do this by sharing the Good News through holistic service, including sending medical teams and caring for the sick, building homes for orphaned children, teaching agricultural skills, running literacy programs, drilling water wells, developing clean water systems, and training leaders for Christ. We encourage a pioneering spirit and network with other organizations of similar vision to reach our mutual goals.

Medical Care

Medical teams travel to the most remote areas of the world, paying their own expenses and providing medical treatment to those in need. Medical care consists of medical examinations and the disbursement of medications, dental care, oral hygiene education, nutritional education, and vision care. Our teams have treated thousands of adults and children in Vietnam, Thailand, Burma and Egypt. The donated medical supplies used by GGN teams have an estimated new cost value of four million dollars.

The Gift of Sight

Do you have or can you collect donated eyeglasses? Our teams have watched many smiles on the faces of people who have benefited from previously used or unused reading and prescription glasses in good condition. If you would like to donate eyeglasses, please click the button below and we’ll send you details on how to box them up and send them to us.

Fresh, Clean Water

Approximately 3.5 million people—mainly children—die every year from water-related diseases. Over 780 million people don’t even have access to clean water. GGN is working hard to help lower these statistics. In doing so we have discovered that clean water gives us a voice in sharing the living water of Jesus. Some of the projects include designing a clean water system in the Sahara, installing a reverse osmosis purifier on the border of Vietnam and China, and drilling fresh water wells in India and Thailand. These projects have made an immense impact for those who now have access to clean, life-giving water and no longer have to worry about hook worms, diarrheal diseases, or dehydration.

New Church Buildings

It’s not always possible for new believers to obtain or construct places of worship. This situation, however, often provides opportunities and open doors for those who want to help and contribute. If you want to help us construct simple brick structures for new churches, click the button below.

Because every second counts in a crisis, GGN is working with United Hatzalah to establish the Ambucycle Unit in Israel, expediting the arrival of medics to emergency incidents. The use of ambucycles in first-response situations has proven to be a critical link in the emergency chain of survival, allowing rescue personnel immediate access to the scene or home of a patient. The response time of an ambucycle medic averages an amazing 90 seconds, because of their ability to avoid traffic congestion, road closures, debris, and parking issues. We can purchase a fully medically equipped ambucycle for $23,000. Click the button below to watch Israeli Channel 10 News coverage on the Ambucycle Unit.

Women's Hygiene

Our vision is to raise the dignity and self-esteem of girls and women in India by providing proper hygiene education, enabling them to live healthier and easier lives. These measures result in the decline of reproductive tract infections and improve the health and lives of future generations of women.

North Africa

Like the shifting sands of the Sahara, North Africa seems to undergo frequent and often dangerous changes. Terrorism, poverty and corrupt governments have created a volatile environment for millions of people and families. GGN has managed to circumvent many of these geo-political difficulties by working directly with local missions and ministries. Our goal is to use the creative skills of medical and construction teams, to improve health, design and develop clean water systems, support missional bookstores, and train local leaders. The challenges are real, but we are networking to make life better in North Africa.

GGN’s focus is on reaching the unreached or unengaged people groups of the 10/40 Window. As a result, our work is in a wide variety of geographical areas. The 10/40 Window is located from 10˚ south to 40˚ north of the equator, and includes 69 nations across northern Africa, the Middle East and central Asia. Nearly 4 billion people live in this zone, including 90% of the world’s poorest of the poor. The seat of every major non-Christian religion is headquartered in the 10/40 Window. Two-thirds of the world’s population (4 billion) live in the nations of this critical slice of our globe.

India is one of the most fascinating nations on earth—which could also be said about its people. GGN serves alongside the Native Missionary Movement in India’s largest state, Rajasthan. This arid, mountainous climate and landscape is the perfect setting for mission stations, sending medical teams and drilling fresh water wells. GGN networks with a Bible college in Northern India that trains pastors to start new churches among indigenous people groups in remote locations. Our teams have served the medical needs of many villagers in the area, as well as drilling over 100 water wells with plans for many more. These are the primary ways we are making life better.

Middle East

GGN stands with Israel in a variety of humanitarian efforts:

  • Bible study on site

  • Community feeding projects

  • Helping Jewish families immigrate back to Israel (the Hebrew word is Aliyah)

  • Sponsoring and supporting reconciliation efforts between Jews and Arabs and between the Anabaptist nation and Israel

  • Working with and supporting The Jerusalem Hills, providing a safe, loving home for high risk, vulnerable children

  • Donating backpacks filled with school supplies for children

  • Educational lecture tours in the USA

  • Supporting United Hatzalah

  • Blessing widows and orphans

  • Partnering with Israel to help Syrian refugees with medical aid

Southeast Asia

When people think of Southeast Asia, they may think of immense cities, like Bangkok, Saigon, Phnom Penh, or Jakarta. But this area south of China is also home to millions of rural poor. Dozens of indigenous hill tribes live in the remote mountainous regions of Southeast Asia. GGN reaches and helps these hill tribes by sending medical teams, building homes for children, drilling water wells and improving agriculture development and various construction projects.

Naomi's Widow and Orphan Food Bank

Naomi's Widow and Orphan Food Bank is one of the key ways GGN stands with and supports Israel.  Recognized by the Prime Minister's office, this food bank serves hundreds of needy windows and orphans each month.

Give to the orphans, and the widows in your towns, so they can eat and be satisfied. Then the Lord your God will bless you in all your work.   Deuteronomy 14:29 (NLT)

Redemption House Home for Children

Redemption House is a home for orphaned children.  It is located three hours north of Saigon, Vietnam, and lovingly cares for, nurtures, and protects 122 children.
